Why we should not vote for Republicans!

The answer is very simple – watch the debates for the republican primaries and you don't need any more explanation.

It is important that I am not suggesting who we should vote for, only that I feel the Republicans candidates in the primaries made a great case why not to vote for anybody in the Republican Party.

If we look at the personal performance of some of the contenders, and how long they were able to stay in the race it one has to wonder about reality.  All of them have had various supports at various stages of the process from some or all fo the Republican "leadership".

There was Herman Cain who early on showed that there should be serious question about this character and his behaviors. It wasn't so much the accusation then how he dealt with it. His inability to get comprehensive answers on the spot was another issue. This is an issue that should instill fear in anybody that could imagine him to represent this country.

Then there was Rick Perry who was talked up by the Republican the leadership and he fumbled right at the starting line. It became immediately clear that he simply did not have what it takes to be the leader of one of the most powerful nations in the world.

I could go on and on to analyze the picture we get from the debate, but I would have to write a book to cover it all. Sure, nobody and no organization is perfect or flawless but this showing right now is just flat out embarrassing. How come that the party leadership is not taking a step and makes this process better? The only answer would be – they are right up there with these candidates.

At this point the candidates have nothing else to do than assassinate each other's character and "dig out the dirt" about them. They insult each other and try to convince the voters how bad the other person is. How can they ever go back and work together after the elections?

In none of the debates they say anything of substance. If they don't go off on each other the follow the simple principle that everything the democrats are doing is bad – no matter if they did the same thing a few years back. If the name of the president comes up it is really bad. They dislike him with a passion that is incredible. Do they forget that around 50% of the Aericanpeople elected him? But it all goes back to what I remember of the Clinton administration. The Republicans are mud slingers and work on character assassination. There is no intelligent program or programmatic approach to running this country. The Republican Party is a party of perpetual anger that would not see the good in their opponent if this would be something that would be needed to save their lives. They rather die than giving a democrat or anybody else any credit.

Another interesting tactic is the repetition of wrong facts or constantly calling something bad until it appears to be true. Unfortunately the collective intellect of the American people allows this to be an effective tool. This tactic is constantly used to change facts and history. The majority of the American people believe that the bailout out (and TARP) of the big banks was initiated by President Obama. What a poor testimonial about the short term memory fo the American public. Remember, it was John Cain who insisted to stop the campaign and to get involved in the bailout requested and spearheaded by George Bush and the Republican Party. Joh McCain wanted to write on his banner. "I was there - I helped to do this"…. Remember??!!??

Again,  I don't want to tell anybody whom to vote for, but I do believe that the Republican Party is begging any intelligent citizen of this country not to vote for them.
